What's being harvested now?

May and June are the infamous "hungry gap" months, when winter crops are running out and summer crops haven't quite begun. These are some of the things we're currently picking on the farm:-
Rainbow chard (outside).

Herb fennel (outside).

Nasturtium flowers (polytunnel).

Rhubarb (outside).

Strawberries (polytunnel).

Sugar-snap and mange-tout peas (polytunnel).

Kohl rabi (polytunnel).

Climbing French beans (polytunnel).

Globe artichokes (outside).

Mixed herbs (outside and polytunnels) - chives, parsley, oregano, fennel, coriander.

Mixed salad leaves (outside and polytunnels).

Vietnamese coriander (polytunnel).
